The Tourists

The Tourists

Who is this strange bunch people trying to meet everyone? Maybe that's all, maybe they just can't wait to get in touch with you.

A group of persons wanders outdoors, like tourists, taking as many pictures as they can with their cameras, fascinated by absolutely everything and having various reactions when confronted to the audience.

This performance focuses on the idea of the spectators’ position. The main idea is to evoke different images, that could make us think about social interactions, about the role of art and the behavior of people in front of a cultural event, without giving too many markers to let people’s imagination roam.
